It brightened my day when:

J: Mr. C brought in a bunch of his garden veggies and told everyone to help themselves
K: V took my hand and had me help him up the stairs on our way to the car
P: a friend gave me a huge compliment
J: my English class group received a very good grade from the teacher
H: my friend's mom invited me into play after school

It brightened my day when:

J: K dealt with our installation this afternoon
K: SP wrote me back so quickly with a ton of professional advice that I could share with a friend of mine
J: our teacher told us we weren't having class today or tomorrow
P: my trumpet teacher wanted to play a duet with me
H: mommy played a card game with me during lunch and let me drive the car into the driveway

Day 332

It brightened my day when:

J: the kids and their friends were having so much fun singing in the car
K: J was able to take someone home for me
P: daddy helped me type my speech out
J: my teacher told us we weren't going to have class today so I didn't have to wake up so early today
H: mommy let me stay in my warm cozy pj's all day today

It brightened my day when:

J: my colleagues really seemed to like our traditional Thanksgiving roast I brought in for them to try
K: little C worked really hard to repeat some syllables and began speaking more with me today
P: daddy was pretty impressed with my idea for a speech topic
J: mommy said I could borrow her dress to wear to school
H: everybody clapped when I finished playing my song on the piano

It brightened my day when:

J: G called to say she spoke with M
K: W was so kind to J during our drive into Nice together
P: mommy's friend saw us at H's school and said happy birthday to us
J: my friends told me they liked my new boots
H: mommy said she loved my xmas decorations

It brightened my day when:

J: K and J worked together to make us a great Thanksgiving dinner for P and J's birthday celebration
K: P and J were so grateful for their bday
P: I received an email from my friend saying happy birthday
J: my friend texted me happy birthday and my cousins skyped me
H: mommy and G gave me a bday treat even though it wasn't my bday

Day 328

It brightened my day when:

J: K called to say she found turkey for us
K: J and H were thrilled that we got to stop for a bite at Quick and were very appreciative
P: H was so excited to write a story with me
J: my friends saw me and were surprised to see me and shared some of their treats with us
H: J shared her bouncy ball with me and played a fun game with me

Day 327

It brightened my day when:

J: K brought me some coffee
K: S called and simply said she was happy to bring H home for me if I wanted
P: the bus driver told us we could just pay next time
J: mommy let us take the bus home with our friends
H: mommy said she was so impressed that I did my homework already

Day 326

It brightened my day when:

J: my colleagues and I were asked to attend the annual educator's conference and they offered us a delicious lunch
K: I received so many "Happy Thanksgivings" from so many different people around the world today!
P: everyone congratulated me on my speech
J: mommy made pecan pie
H: we had a Thanksgiving meal tonight

It brightened my day when:

J: the families that attended the speech contest were very complimentary about the organization of it
K: the whole family got to be there to see P participate in the contest
P: everyone came to see my speech
J: daddy asked me to be the official timer for the speech contest
H: P shared his candy winnings with me

It brightened my day when:

J: everyone was very excited about my newly created southwestern pasta
K: the friendly man at the rink loaned H a jersey because we (I) forgot to put his into his bag
P: A gave me the flat stanley!
J: daddy made us delicious pasta
H: mommy read to me about Thanksgiving

Day 323

It brightened my day when:

J: K made me another cup of coffee to help my headache
K: J was able to pick up H for a surprise lunchtime pick-up
P: daddy took W and I to our hockey lesson even though he wasn't feeling well and mommy sent delicious snacks
J: mommy sent me a tortilla roll-up for a snack
H: mommy and I got to watch a movie together on our new dvd player

It brightened my day when:

J: the kids at the rink were thrilled to play ice skating chase with me
K: little E gave me a huge smile when she went around the rink with me
P: my brother's friends were so happy we came to iceskate with them
J: E was at the party too and we were able to catch up and hang out together
H: my whole family went ice skating with me

Day 321

It brightened my day when:

J: the provisor was so happy to have us help him move his piano and was really appreciative
K: my kids (whom were all so happy and getting along) and I were all gathered round the table listening to classical music and enjoying the warm sunshine
P: my friend called to see if I could come over and have pizza with him
J: H was so excited and happy I shared the cake batter with him
H: J shared the cake batter with me and it was so yummy

Day 320

It brightened my day when:

J: I came home and H gave me bisous
K: H stayed home with me and he had such a great recovery day and was so happy
P: I walked in the house smelled so good and looked beautiful thanks to mommy
J: I smelled swedish rice that mommy made for dinner
H: mommy said I could stay home and sleep in to recover

Day 319

It brightened my day when:

J: the nurse informed me that my bp was great
K: C came up to me to thank me for helping and she would welcome any input
P: all my friends came to congratulate me after my speech
J: S sat next to me at the speech contest
H: mommy told me my frisbee throwing was great

Day 318

It brightened my day when:

J: K helped me find a song to present to our group
K: M showed enthusiasm for our lesson tonight and she did a great job with it
P: daddy really took the time to help me with my power point on Ovechkin
J: mommy made us enchiladas and she took the time to find my pin code
H: we read "monster stew" together before bed

It brightened my day when:

J: the plumber made a special trip to pay us a visit after hours
K: C was overjoyed to see that I came to help her out and was so appreciative
P: S gave our class such a fun activity to work on
J: L and I were able to sit side by side in class
H: mommy smiled at me while I skated passed her at hockey tonight

It brightened my day when:

J: the Russian expert I tweeted followed me after having read my comment
K: S shared her clementines and even peeled them for me during our library duty together
P: the coach came up to me and did 1on1 drills with me
J: my teacher gave me a peanut m&m for having answered correctly
H: mommy played poker with me all during our lunch

It brightened my day when:

J: K made delicious soup for us to eat while enjoying the football game on the big screen
K: J volunteered to go out and wash all the rugs at the laundromat
P: everyone congratulated me on my schedule making skills
J: mommy made us yummy soup when it was so cold inside
H: mommy and daddy played poker with me

It brightened my day when:

J: the mechanic did a few extra things for me on the car
K: my kids serenaded me with guitar/and singing tonight
P: everyone was happy with my ambiance setting for our dinner
J: everyone thanked me for the delicious pumpkin pie I made
H: P brought over a bag of goodies including cracker jacks

It brightened my day when:

J: the people at Conforama were exceptionally thorough and efficient
K: F was so kind to invite us to his work and take the time to drive us home
P: H and I had so much fun working on our fort
J: mommy took me shopping
H: P spent time with me at our fort

J: I read all the reports from the elections
K: the students were so thoughtful to congratulate us
P: daddy was so pleased that we helped collect the olives
J: everyone congratulated me on my delicious pumpkin/squash soup
H: P gave us a nice rug and a lot of her garden vegetables

J: the man at the store was so honest with us
K: the man at the store went above and beyond to help us
P: daddy made hamburgers for us to celebrate the elections
J: mommy created a Halloween scavenger hunt for us with all the goodies G sent us

J: I came home to find K awake and waiting up for me
K: L agreed to take Flat Stanley with her to Thailand
P: H came out to play a game of football
J: everyone let me sleep in
H: P played outside with me

J: K was excited to see me taking pictures of him during the Nice marathon
K: K shared all his fruit that he desperately needed himself, with all the kids who came to watch him run the marathon
P: we ran into our friends from church that we hadn't seen for a long time
J: K celebrated his run with us at our house
H: we got to watch K run through the finish line

Day 308

It brightened my day when:

J: K came over to me and gave me a support high five
K: the man in the store was so nice to go check and help try to find H's sweatshirt we left
P: K and J invited me to go with them to the Marathon expo
J: S reminded me to go get a special cupcake she decorated for me
H: everyone cheered for me when I showed them I pulled out my tooth!

It brightened my day when:

J: my advisor gave me great feedback on my paper
K: everyone wanted to stop off and see my old school (just to please me)
P: E and H were so excited to play football with me at each rest stop
J: K got us some delicious gelato in Aosta
H: E and I were singing Oh Suzanna over and over again

J: the guy at Cafe Instanbul saw me and recognized me
K: J's advisor set up a tour of the UN for us
P: daddy's advisor gave us chocolate
J: J's advisor schedule a tour of the UN for us and the tour guide was so fun
H: we got to go to the UN
